Is hydrocodone addictive?

The question of the day people ask today is hydorcodone addictive? Well I bet you can just ask about anyone who has been taking this medication for pain over an extended period of time if hydrocodone is addictive I would be will to bet you that most would agree that it is.

I tend to agree with this because in many instances the person could have taking Motrin or Tylenol to ease their pain but their doctor in their infinite wisdom prescribed one of the most addictive drugs of the day that contained hydrocodne.

Don’t get me wrong this is not the only way people become addicted to drugs that contain this very addictive opiate drug; in fact, high school kids are becoming addicted to this drug in rather alarming rates. Ok you may be wondering where they get their drugs. It is really quite easy because they have learned from their older peers that their parents or other family members have this type of drug in their medicine chest. That’s right it’s as easy as that. Now this type of tragedy could have been prevented if the parents would have been responsible enough to put their medication under lock and key.
