Don’t fall into the If only trap.

Like if only I would have quit Dilaudid snorting last year I would still be married.

If only I had stopped Dilaudid snorting I would have money to pay my bills.

If only I had a girlfriend my life would be better and I would have a reason to stop snorting dilaudid.

If I only had couple of dilaudid K 4’s to hold me over until I felt a little better I would stop snorting dilaudid.

If only I had a good job I would be happy and would not need to get high.

If only pork chops had wings and   they could fly to the dinner table.

If only you would quit making excuses about things and do the work it takes to get clean just maybe you could obtain a good number of these things.

Instead of feeling sorry for yourself do something positive for your recovery and learn to have faith. Go to a NA meeting.

If you want to be clean and sober you must take action. We must except that things are not always going to go are way and that we will not always get what we wish.
