With the advent of new types of treatment for addiction like rapid opiate detox a person can be detoxed from opiates in a matter of hours. This type of treatment is done while the patient is unconscious. One very important thing a person should be aware of if they are considering ultra rapid opiate detox is that there have been reports of death during this procedure. I probably would have tried it because I pretty much tried everything else know to man to get clean. The problem was I continued to use. I would go to rehab get out and sometimes use that very same day.

I would not say that all the opiate detox I went to were a waist of time; I look at it like they were a learning experience. Yes, I wish I would have got clean and stayed clean the first time around it would have saved me a lot of money and a lot of wear and tear on my body.

If you are still healthy you may want to quit using opiates now while you still are because a lot of people say they are going to stop but they want use one more time before they do and it turns out to be their last because they die of a heroin or opiate overdose. It’s kind of like you never hear the bullet that actually kills you! This can all be prevented with a rapid opiate detox.
