With the advent of new types of treatment for addiction like rapid opiate detox a person can be detoxed from opiates in a matter of hours. This type of treatment is done while the patient is unconscious. If you are still healthy you may want to quit using opiates now while you still are because a lot of people say they are going to stop but they want use one more time before they do and it turns out to be their last because they die of a heroin or opiate overdose. It’s kind of like you never hear the bullet that actually kills you! This can all be prevented with a rapid opiate detox.
