If you are trying to come off of prescription pain medications then you know this is not going to be easy to make it through the withdrawal symptoms without reverting to your drug of choice. The suffering of withdrawal is why we keep using regardless of what we have to go through to get more. One of the best plans one can make would be to check into opiate addiction treatment. The good thing about this is that they can actually limit any discomfort you may have by easing the pain of  withdrawal using medications.
