What you need to do is once you locate one is to give them a call and let them know that you are interested in detoxing from opiates. This is by far the best way how to stop opiate withdrawal.
I would also suggest that while you are speaking with them that you let them know that you are also interested in residential treatment because just detoxing will not cut it, your chances of staying clean with just a withdrawal from opiates are very slim maybe like one in a hundred if that. There is another option called alternative maintenance meds for opiate addiction.
In residential treatment you will gain some information on how not to return to active opiate addiction. While there you will watch recovery related videos, attend lectures, and have individual counseling this is all to prepare you for when you leave opiate addiction treatment.
